Our production personnel have all worked together a long time and are accountable at the highest level of professionalism. They are some of the most highly skilled individuals at their craft. We have long ago earned each other’s trust and confidence.

Randy Leipnik

After a colorful career in music and audio recording, Randy embraced video production, surrounding himself with people who knew far more than he. Semper Media Group is the unique result of this study of applying media and marketing to the art of business. Randy has performed with artists such as The Four Aces, The Inkspots, The Diamonds, Gaylord & Holiday, The Velvelettes, The Contours, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Mary Wells, Lou Christie, Ziggy
Elmer and Meredith Wilson. He also spent two years with Eddie Kendrick, David Ruffin and Dennis Edwards of The Temptations.

Clyde Stringer

A man who sees light in a different manner than most of us, Clyde Stringer captures images, both still and moving, to deliver a message with art, power and style. Clyde has received Blue Ribbons from the Professional Photographers Association of America, a Certificate of Distinction from Art Direction Magazine, and an Honor Award from the Industrial Photographers Association of America. In addition, he has received a Silver and Golden Eagle Award for Cinematography and Lighting. He has been honored as a finalist in the American Film Festival and, among many other recognitions, the tribute of having his work displayed at the Detroit Institute of Arts.

Michael Whitenack

Michael Whitenack
Executive Producer, Director
Upon graduation from Central Michigan University with a degree in broadcasting and film, Michael Whitenack began a sales and marketing sojourn in the music industry that extended over decades, with stops at RCA, Island Records and finally as Director of National Accounts at Walt Disney Records.

Currently reconnected with his passion for motion picture and television creation, his work includes TV commercial production, remote web broadcast, independent films, reality TV series and the 2010 Detroit/Windsor 48-Hour Film Competition.

Most recently, his showcase series on outstanding eateries in the Detroit area “Dining in the D” was aired on PBS and is rumored to have sent many people quite over the edge of the diet precipice.

Wally Szczubialka

Wally’s lifelong goal was to become a creative participant in the film/television production business. Filmmaking was his dream, but he found personal and professional satisfaction staying in Michigan and working in the video and television production world.

He loves to have a goal for a client, to create the visual and audio support to reach the intended audience and to achieve that goal. Each project becomes a “film” to send a message and touch people’s lives. He enjoys the challenge of bringing together all the elements needed to complete a project.

Since 1985 Wally’s roles have included:
● Director Of Photography: DP/ Videographer / Camera Operator for video productions, Broadcast shows, (all major networks and all styles of shooting) Agency and Corporate programs (Sales & Marketing, Internal Communications) Documentary style production

Responsible for equipment and crew for all location and studio productions

Final Cut Pro editor for specific projects / clients

Clarence D. Johnson

30 years in video production, still photography and print. There is no stone left unturned when CJ is producing your project.
Clarence’s clients have included Borg-Warner, Cadillac Motor Car Division, Frontline (PBS), GMC Truck, Lear Corporation, and New Detroit, Inc.

Nolan Mendenhall

Creative spark is the fuel for any successful project and it lives right here. Nolan is quite the famous guy, though he will always deny it.

Nolan has held staff positions at Yessian Music, Livewire Music and Sparling Music and is the winner for Outstanding Record Producer for the 2002 Detroit Music Awards. In the realm of video, Nolan has
directed music videos of artists as diverse as Riot In Progress, Tracy Leigh Bechard and The Acadian Ghost.

Lon Stratton

Since 1984 Mr. Stratton has been actively involved in cinematography, first as a camera assistant, then as director of photography. His has shot television commercials, documentaries, feature and short films. He is also a fine pilot and helps Semper Media Group provide the finest in aerial work, including air-to-air video work. Mr Stratton is listed in the Internet Movie

Database.

Bill Hunt

Bill has a 25 year successful track record for conceiving, writing and producing creative treatments, programs, scripts and specials for national broadcast and internal corporate communications. He has proven himself with tradeshows, live events, mobile media campaigns, and communication plans and programs.

Dan Kolton

Without music, most video or web presentations would be very pedestrian. Dan Kolton gives a unique boost to any project with his outstanding original music scores. His good taste and amazing audio palette will help you to paint the best picture possible for your project.
